Interactive magazine.
Client: Supa Centa Moore Park
Magazine: Styla Seasonal Interactive Magazine
About: Working together with the client, retailers and developers, we created a new interactive magazine to provide new ideas, inspiration and giveways. Through minimalist and sophisticated design, we have developed a premium magazine for existing and new members and the general public. It takes a traditional print publication to the next level, using interactivity to bring elements to life. For instance the user can enter competitions within the magazine, click through to purchase products, whilst also watching a video of how they work. It uses subtle but eye catching animations and integrates exciting quotes from various retailers.
Services: The spring edition was the beginning of Styla and we formed various creative directions including the masthead development for the client to choose from. I also created short-form video content for advertising the new interactive magazine.
Click through to experience the magazine: Spring Edition and Summer Edition.

Publication.
Client: Australian HR Institute (AHRI)
Magazine: HRM (formerly Human Resources Magazine) Awards: Finalist for 2019 Mumbrella Publish Award for Association Publication Of The Year About: Took over design duties for the magazine in 2018 and led it in a bold new direction. It went from a dated look that focused on to-camera portraiture to a publication that embraces a modern style. Not only did the photography and covers become more conceptual, we also experimented with more abstract ideas. We brought the client along the journey with us and our efforts, and their belief in the new direction, were rewarded by a Mumbrella award nomination. |
